Seamlessly integrating sludge, crust, post rock, and post hardcore elements into their, predominately, Neurosis-esque post metal sound, Fall of Efrafa manages to stay within the bounds of a fairly-stagnant genre while still maintaining all the nuances that set them apart from their peers. There are plenty of melodic, emotional build ups that come to a climax with a tremendous collision of cymbal, guttural vocals, and epic riffs. It's a shame they disbanded at the end of 2009 as they could have easily launched themselves into the pantheon of post metal gods with just a few more releases on par with their last.
