If you've never listened to Revenge then shame on you; hailing from the infamous bloodline that has produced such classic blackened death metal acts like Angelcorpse, Axis of Advance, and Conqueror etc... Revenge ranks up with the best when it comes to making an apocalyptic racket.
Scum.Collapse.Eradication isn't a departure from Revenge's previous blaspheming in any way, and would anyone really expect any differently? Since 2000 these Canadian warriors have been holding trve to their chaotic style of music and the fourth full-length in their discography is really no different; Vermin's guitar work is muddy, sloppy and downtuned but as always his trademark style works wonders in tandem with James Read, one of extreme metal's best blasters.
Scum.Collapse.Eradication is an assault on the senses in every sense of the phrase but if you're a fan of their previous work or just someone that enjoys raw as can be blackened death metal, this album is for you.
